My laptop used to overheat and shut down all the time. I researched a lot of laptop coolers before choosing this one. My computer has not overheated or shut down even once since I started using the cooler. It is sleek, lightweight, portable, quiet and it does the job its supposed to do. Sometimes the laptop's internal fan kicks on, but the bottom of the laptop never even gets hot to the touch anymore. Some reviewers had problems with their laptops sliding down off the cooler, but mine stays put just fine. This cooler works just like I'd hoped and I would definitely recommend it to my friends.
I ordered this thing the other day and it finally came in today. I was glad since my computer was pretty hot after a game of TF2. I decided to hook this thing up, and as soon as i turned it on, not even 10 minutes later I noticed the the computer's temperature go down quite a bit. I'm using an Asus G50Vt-X1, and these things tend to heat up a lot, especially with hardcore gaming. Getting this fan was a great idea and I'd recommend it to anyone who was looking for a good fan.
